MP-5(2) — Documentation of Activities

This enhancement requires you to document all media transport activities. Good documentation creates an audit trail that proves your media was handled properly throughout its journey.

Example 1: Create a Media Transport Form that records: date, media description and serial number, classification/sensitivity level, sender name, recipient name, transport method, expected delivery date, and receipt confirmation. File completed forms in your compliance records.

Example 2: Use a shared spreadsheet or database to track all media in transit. Include columns for shipment date, tracking number, contents description, sender, recipient, and delivery confirmation date. Review for overdue shipments weekly and investigate any missing media immediately.
