DITPR

DITPR (DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository) is the DoD's enterprise database for registering and tracking IT systems. Every DoD information system must be registered in DITPR with details about its mission, architecture, funding, and security status.

DITPR registration is a prerequisite for the RMF process — your system must exist in DITPR before you can begin its security authorization in eMASS. The system record includes information about the system's operational status, connected networks, and responsible personnel.

Why It Matters

If your system isn't registered in DITPR, you can't start the RMF process. Ensuring accurate DITPR registration early prevents administrative delays in your authorization timeline.
