CyberAB

The CyberAB (Cyber Accreditation Body) is the organization authorized by the Department of Defense to manage the CMMC assessment ecosystem. They accredit the C3PAOs that perform assessments, certify individual assessors, and maintain the official marketplace where you can find authorized assessment organizations.

Previously known as the CMMC-AB, the CyberAB ensures quality and consistency across all CMMC assessments. They set the standards for assessor training, manage conflicts of interest, and provide oversight of the entire certification process.
